The
University of Texas Longhorn Alumni Band began in 1964 with 67 members. Now, LHAB consists of over 3,000 members spanning seven
countries.
Each year 800+ Longhorn Alumni Band members gather for our annual meeting at the designated Alumni Band home game. LHAB and LHB each perform half-time shows of their own, and then present a combined performance for a total of over 1,000 performers on the field.

LHAB gives generously to the LHB scholarship fund each year and awards various general and named scholarships to deserving Longhorn Band members. Contributions are welcome anytime from members, friends and fans.
