Band Day Hotel Info
Are you looking for a hotel to stay at during Band Day? October 22-24 is also the weekend of the Live Strong event so hotel rooms are limited. The Longhorn Alumni Band contacted area hotels for the best deal available.
The LHAB has a highly negotiated room rate with the Sheraton Austin at the Capitol. The address is 701 East 11th Street.
Here are the details:
- Room rate: $169 plus tax
- Parking: We also received a special rate on the parking. The self parking rate for overnight guests is $8.
- Continental breakfast for two included in rate.
- Complimentary Internet.
The Sheraton Austin at the Capitol has an indoor/outdoor pool and
Jacuzzi, fully equipped fitness center, business center, and concierge
services. Guest rooms and all public spaces were completely renovated in January,
2009 with flat screen TVs and Sweet Sleeper Beds. There is close proximity to
countless museums, fantastic restaurants ,and great live music venues.
