Video Update: LHB DVDs Now Available Now Available for Sale, But We Still Need Your Help!

After much work compiling, editing, and piecing together videos from the LHB archives as well as tapes sent to us by our members, we've finally got a good library started, and we are now starting to take orders for DVDs of LHB shows for LHAB members only.

HOWEVER, we still have several years (some recent) for which we do not have all or even some of the shows on video. If you are able to help us out, our offer still stands: If you can provide us with videotapes of LHB material that we do not have, we will copy it for our archives and make you a permanent DVD copy for free. We don't care where you got the tape, and we'll give it back to you when we're done.

If you want DVDs of LHB performances from a year that we have completed, the cost is $25 per year, plus $6 shipping per order. Detailed ordering information is below. Each DVD will include every performance available for that year, plus any other material such as freshman orientation, inaugural parades, TV coverage we have, etc. All proceeds above and beyond our video archive expenses will go to the LHB scholarship fund.

If you have any video for the years listed below, please contact Kent Kostka at kentkostka1@aol.com. We absolutely cannot complete this project without your help, so if you have videos from the years listed below as incomplete or missing, please contact us. There's a free DVD in it for you, and you'll be helping us complete our archives. If you're one of the people who took an original videotape from the LHB office and are worried that we're going to give you a hard time for taking the tape in the first place, rest assured that we don't care how you got it. We'll even give it back to you when we're done with a big "thank you."

Please understand that we're somewhat new at this whole DVD thing, and that the work is being done by volunteers, so your order may take some time to fill. Be patient with us, and include your home address, phone number, and e-mail along with your order, and please be specific as to what you're ordering. Right now we have enough work to do that we cannot guarantee that orders will be ready by Band Day, but if they are, we'll refund your shipping charges unless you'd care to donate it to either the film restoration fund or the scholarship fund.

The cost is $25 per year, with a $6 charge per order for shipping and packaging. Rest assured that if your box weighs less than we thought and we spend less on packaging and postage than you send us, it will all go towards restoring and archiving videos.
