MEETING MINUTES FOR NOVEMBER 1, 1999
6:30 PM 1999-2000 Officers took a picture for the Cactus

-Alumni band members have expressed interest in posting minutes on the Web
-October 4 Minutes were not reviewed because they were not brought to the meeting.

3. Treasurer's Report:
-404 tickets bought from UT (the bill was paid)
-New policy for LHAB. People to sign for access to LHAB account:

4. Old Business
4.1 Blast Assignments: Susan LaRonde thanks all those who worked so hard on their Blast articles.
4.1.1 Spirit Items Report: Unavailable due to Jenny Griffin's absence.
4.1.2. Austin Area Report: Scott Hendrix thanks those who attended the Stampede @ the Main Mall.
4.1.3. Photos of Band Day 99' are on E-groups. There's an interest for a mass-band picture.
4.1.4 Officer, BOT/BOD Directory is correct.
4.2 Kent Kostka discussed progress on thank you gifts for Nancy Murphy, Carter & Dodson. They all get LHB bricks.
4.3 Scott discussed some problems with instruments (bass drum) and inability to get vests. Austin Area Rep needs 35 vests. LHAB didn't do the Friday Night Parade because of lack of interest.
4.4 Tower Band: Need George to talk to Moton Crockett. Moton has to ask UT for permission to play at the Tower during Christmas.
4.5 Returning Music: Tenaya Sunbury had no problem.
4.6 Band Day 2000: Susan L. discussed our 3 choices for the next year. LHAB prefers not have Houston vs. UT. First choice: OSU on September 30, Second choice: Missouri on October 14.

5.2 Discussion of accounts received in order to get active plaques engraved.
5.3 Has contacted principle Muenzler. Will keep us updated.
5.4 Schertz rally (music & vest people will contact SA representative.
5.4.2. Big 12
LHAB might join SA LHAB if UTA goes to the Big 12 Championship
5.5 Yearbook picture @ 6:30PM (***$365.00 Cactus Fee***)
5.6 No December meeting
