The following scholarships are also being awarded to Longhorn Band students:
The Fred E. Lewis, Jr. Longhorn Band Scholarship of $700 is awarded through the Ex- Students' Association each year to a music major. The Cathy L. Sorsby Longhorn Band Scholarship of $700 is awarded through the Ex-Students' Association each year to a female with high scholastic achievement and extracurricular involvement. The Patsy Hejl Scholarship is awarded through Tau Beta Sigma each year to an outstanding new female member of Longhorn Band with superior characteristics in scholarship, leadership, and dedication. Paula Crider TBS Scholarship. Willie Nelson/Darrell Royal Scholarship of $2,000. DiNino Scholarship of $500.
